Relive Ronda’s Shocked Reaction to The Shield’s 2014 Break Up

Ronda Rousey is currently wowing WWE fans on a weekly basis with just how quickly she’s been able to pick up the art of pro wrestling. But before she ever even stepped into the squared circle, she was a huge fan in her own right. Ronda followed pro wrestling—specifically the WWE—for decades and was never shy about showing her love for sports entertainment.

That love sometimes led to very entertaining and highly emotional reactions on social media—like the time she posted her reaction to the infamous Shield break-up.

In the video, you can see Ronda cuddled up on her couch watching the episode of RAW that featured Seth Rollins turning his back on his Shield brothers, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. The break-up was a huge shock at the time, because just 24 hours earlier, The Shield defeated Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista) at the WWE Payback pay-per-view.

So it was no wonder Ronda’s reaction was the type you’d expect from someone watching a horror movie, not pro wrestling show. At one point, you even see her cover her mouth and wipe her eye as she stares in disbelief.

Now that’s Ronda’s in WWE—as the RAW Women’s Champion—she’s been on the wrong end of a betrayal herself, as The Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie) recently turned on her. Ronda’s now scheduled to defend her championship against Nikki Bella at WWE’s first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, where she’ll hopefully get her revenge.
