Shayna Baszler Chokes Out Ronda Rousey At SummerSlam

After weeks of fights, callouts, standoffs, and deeply personal interviews, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler faced off in an MMA match inside WWE. Ronda is seemingly going home with her ex-best friend standing victorious above her after a brutal — just brutal fight dictated by “MMA rules” that meant the winner could only have their hand raised if they knocked out or submitted their opponent. This is something we’ve never seen in WWE. This was violence on a level that forced parents to make their kids look away. This was personal. Shayna didn’t touch gloves…

This was two legends of MMA history showing WWE fans intestinal fortitude rarely seen in the squared circle. It was emotional. Ronda looked stoic, but emotional walking out. Shayna had a sneer.
