SmackDown: Charlotte Flair Ducks Ronda Rousey in Brooklyn

Over the last few weeks on SmackDown, Ronda Rousey has suffered multiple indignities at the hands of Charlotte Flair. We’ve seen Ronda stretched on a Mercedes Benz, put through a table, had her lip split… and on top of that, she’s had nearly every interview segment interrupted. With only two SmackDown shows left until WrestleMania, it was no secret that the Rowdy Ones were excited to have Ronda pay Charlotte back for what she’s done.

Especially with Ronda looking sharp training with Shayna Baszler. Who is Charlotte training with, huh?

As Joan Jett hit in the Barclays Center, Ronda came out all smiles as usual (probably because she knew it was only 15 more days until WrestleMania). After an unfortunate series of replays showcasing Charlotte’s “dominance” of Ronda, we went to the ring :

We sometimes seem to forget that Ronda has been oddly terrifying since she was a little girl. Then, unsurprisingly, Flair interrupted Ronda’s promise to take her belt at WrestleMania. What was more surprising, however, was that she did it from some sort of remote location.

It seems as if Flair doesn’t want to get anywhere near Ronda with just over two weeks until WrestleMania. Not anywhere that isn’t sneaking up behind her back, at least.

It is unknown why the C-stands and lights are necessary to be in the shot, but what is known is that Ronda is not at all fazed by Charlotte’s little games. Will she be at SmackDown or not? Doesn’t matter. What we know is that a contract has been signed and these two will fight until someone is pinned, unconscious, or… say they “quit” at WrestleMania.
