SmackDown: Charlotte Flair Powerbombed Ronda Through the Announce Table!

Rowdy Staff

The last time we saw Ronda Rousey, she was getting stretched across a 2022 Mercedes-Benz Coupe by Charlotte Flair. Things were not looking good for the Rowdy One. Between attacks on her knee by Sonya Deville, Charlotte constantly being a pain in the ass, and being a new mom, it’s a wonder Ronda can even train for WrestleMania.

Of course, Ronda has made Charlotte tap via ankle lock—and will no doubt make her tap again via any maneuver she so chooses on April 2, which is two weeks from tomorrow—but the constant annoyances and digs at Ronda seemed to add up. And damn it, Charlotte caught Ronda off guard on SmackDown last week.

So Charlotte strutted out Friday night with her SmackDown Women’s Championship, looking smug as all hell after what she’s put Ronda through the last few weeks. From our perspective, she’s just digging a deeper hole, but we digress.

She started it out, with this:

“When you’re Charlotte Flair, you always have a plan… No one has caused Ronda Rousey more pain than me.”

Charlotte then ranted about how great she was for no less than three minutes (amidst chants of “you tapped out”) but she just kept going on and on about being a 13-time champion and how Ronda couldn’t cut it in WWE. After what felt like forever, Ronda couldn’t take it anymore and made her way to the ring. Then, all hell broke loose between these two once again.

After a quick scramble and a nifty step up flying armbar, Charlotte was able to slither out of the ring and grab a kendo stick. Ronda got dumped on her head hard, Charlotte used the stick to crush Ronda’s windpipe, and then…

The show closed with Charlotte standing over Ronda. This can’t be a sign of things to come, can it? Or will Ronda strike back soon?
