Ronda Explains It All Regarding Her Finger Injury On the Set of ‘9-1-1’ (WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT)

“So what the hell happened on 9-1-1?”

A few days ago, Deadline reported that Ronda Rousey would be recurring in the upcoming third season of FOX’s 9-1-1. Awesome news. Then yesterday, TMZ reported that Ronda had suffered a gruesome finger injury while filming on the set of 9-1-1. Far less awesome news, unless you’re going for the original definition of “awesome.”

Obviously, both of these reports were true. But neither of these reports were as… in-depth as an update video from Ronda herself on the matter. (Specifically, the second matter—her being on 9-1-1 is pretty open and shut, you see.) So, here it is.

WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT. You’re about to see an almost severed finger, and it’s super gross. (Seriously. Tendons and nerves and bones and surgeries and fingers no longer being attached to fingers.)

In this RondaRousey.com exclusive video—and after some clever “cast”-based wordplay—Ronda explains just what happened on the set of 9-1-1 with a boat door that seemingly had a vendetta against her. Ronda’s explanation comes along with post-accident footage, as well as some of the reasons behind why the “impregnation vacation” hasn’t quite gone the way she and Travis had planned.

By the way: Yes, Ronda went back to film 9-1-1 the next day, a day after surgery. (“Ice and Advil, bitch,” indeed.) Thank you to all the Rowdy Ones who have sent Ronda well wishes, as well as the cast and crew of 9-1-1, who witnessed this surreal incident right alongside her.
