UFC fight weeks can be stressful for fighters. The media obligations, weight cut, and last minute strategizing are a lot to think about. Fighters have to find small ways to detach from the hecticness of fight camp and relax.

For Ronda Rousey, losing herself in the lore of World of Warcraft is just what the doctor ordered.

Ronda has never been shy when talking about her WoW fandom but for many of her fans, UFC 184’s Embedded was the first time they were able to see just how big of a gamer she is.

The UFC Embedded cameras captured Ronda chilling out and diving into WoW during a much-needed relaxation day in the midst of her UFC 184 fight camp.

“My off days I play World of Warcraft, drink coffee, and hang out with my dog,” she said.

Ronda’s dungeon crawling didn’t take away from her Octagon performance at all. She went on to defeat Cat Zingano in 14 seconds at UFC 184, a dominant victory that in some way has to be connected to mental sharpness she developed spending hours on her laptop playing World of Warcraft. Right?
