Ronda to the WWE Universe: “Pay 60 Bucks, Then I’ll Show You An Armbar.”

Last night at the Fastlane pay-per-view, Ronda Rousey interfered in Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair match, ensuring that Becky Lynch would, in fact, be going to WrestleMania 35 as part of the RAW Women’s Championship main event match.

Tonight on Monday Night RAW, Ronda was no longer doing anyone any favors—especially not the WWE Universe. The first thing she told the Pittsburgh crowd was, “You can all take your applause and shove it.” After calling them “bandwagon bitches,” Ronda pointed out how they were also “cowards,” just like their hero (“a hero you deserve”) Becky Lynch.

“But for Charlotte and Becky, there is no barrier. This may be your church, but there is no sanctuary for you here. I’ve come to desecrate your place of worship. I’m going to embarrass and humiliate both Charlotte and Becky on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’. That’s why I got Charlotte disqualified last night. I need to make 100% sure I can embarrass—I can expose—Charlotte and Becky and the WWE as the carny con artists they always have been.”

And you know what else? “No one can stop me,” says Ronda. She plans to walk through both Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. In fact, she might even let WWE make the WrestleMania match a handicap match against her, that’s how confident she is about walking out of the MetLife Stadium as RAW Women’s Champion. Because:

“Becky is a joke. Charlotte is a joke. And anyone who believes in this whole charade is a joke.”

And that would’ve been the end of it… but Dana Brooke decided to come out with a microphone. Oh, sweet summer child. Dana spoke from the heart about how she has nothing left to lose, and because of that, she wasn’t going to let Ronda disrespect the WWE, the WWE Universe, and the women’s locker room any longer. All Dana wanted was “just a chance,” so since was the night after a pay-per-view, she reminded Ronda about her championship open challenge:

“My name is Dana Brooke. And I accept.”

Unfortunately for Dana Brooke, it turned out that she didn’t so much accept a match as she accepted a damn beating. But when it came time for Ronda to finish her off with the armbar, the champ seemingly showed mercy. Or really, business savvy:

“Pay 60 bucks, then I’ll show you an armbar.”

WWE officials came out to stop Ronda from continuing to beat Dana down—though, one of them ended up getting beaten down by Ronda himself—and the RAW Women’s Champion left the arena with her championship, her jacket, and even more confidence than before on the Road to WrestleMania.
