Ronda Rousey, Among Other WWE Superstars, Nominated For First-Ever “Best WWE Moment” ESPY
In case you missed it, Ronda Rousey—alongside (well, technically, versus) several of her fellow WWE Superstars—was nominated for an ESPY Award this year. Ronda is a multi-time ESPY winner, having won Best Female Athlete in 2014 and 2015 and Best Fighter in 2015
However, 2019 marks the first time ever that the ESPYS has had a category dedicated specifically to sports entertainment, with its newly-formed “Best WWE Moment” category.
The nominees are as follows (and have all been covered here on RondaRousey.com):
- Roman Reigns returns to WWE RAW
- Becky Lynch’s two wins at WrestleMania 35
- Kofi Kingston wins first WWE title
- Ronda Rousey wins first RAW title at SummerSlam
You can vote for Best WWE Moment here, any time before the 2019 ESPY Awards (hosted by Tracy Morgan) air on ABC, July 10 (at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT).
Obviously, as this is RondaRousey.com, it might seem like we’re a little biased about who we want to win this category. But honestly, just the fact that the category even exists is such a big deal. Congratulations to all the nominees!
