NXT: Candice LeRae, You're Next

“The Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler has a new challenger to her NXT Women’s Championship. That woman? None other than the new #1 Contender: Candice LeRae.

Candice came out on top in the previously announced Fatal 4-Way match—against former NXT Women’s Championship challengers, Mia Yim, Io Shirai, and Bianca Belair—that kicked off NXT’s live debut on the USA Network. She pinned Mia to get the future title shot.

Candice had no time to celebrate her victory though, as she was soon met at the top of the ramp by the champion and her fellow Four Horsewomen, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.

However, she did get a chance to discuss the win with Cathy Kelley later in the night:
