NXT: Belair, LeRae, Shirai, & Yim to Face Off For Championship Shot Against Baszler

This week on NXT, General Manager Wiliam Regal announced that in two weeks—on NXT’s debut episode live on the USA Network—there will be a Fatal 4-Way match to determine the new #1 Contender for “The Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler’s NXT Women’s Championship. The competitors? Well, in case you missed the title, they’re Mia Yim, Candice LeRae, Io Shirai, and Bianca Belair.

All of these women have had their shot at Shayna—and some have had multiple shots *cough*Io Shirai*cough*—so this could easily be anyone’s last chance at getting anywhere near the champ’s gold. We’ll find out in two weeks’ time. And we’ll see if Io and Candice can stay focused, because right now…

As for Shayna’s match against Rhea Ripley next week (which was announced earlier in the night), don’t forget: That’s not actually a title match.

If Rhea wins, that could mean a championship match in the future. But I think we all know you’ve got to walk before you can run. Especially when Shayna Baszler is the one running this division.
