Charlotte Flair: “Ronda Fears I’ll Give Her Another Beating of a Lifetime”

This week’s episode of SmackDown opened with yet another controversy caused by Mr. McMahon: At the contract signing for Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship at Fastlane, the Chairman replaced fan favorite Kingston with Kevin Owens, much like he replaced Becky Lynch with Charlotte Flair in her hard-earned RAW Women’s Championship match against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania.

In a speech later in the show, Charlotte noted the similarity to her own situation and praised Mr. McMahon for “making the main event of Fastlane even better.” As the fans chanted for Becky, Charlotte said Mr. McMahon had saved the main event of WrestleMania by putting her in it and that she got exactly why he did it. When it comes to doing what she’s told and delivering, whether it be “media, charity, live events, the main events… I am the gold standard.”

Not content with just praising herself, “The Queen” also took the time to disparage her rivals. Charlotte claimed that both Ronda and Becky fear her, “and fear makes you do irrational things.”

“Ronda fears I’ll give her another beating of a lifetime like I did at Survivor Series. I fear nothing, and a true champion fears no one… The difference between the two of us is that I will never quit and I will never lay down that title because I am the true champion.”

Flair announced that she’ll show up to RAW next Monday so that Mr. McMahon can crown her the new RAW Women’s Champion—in response to Rousey’s ultimatum from Monday—something she feels she deserves. Something tells me Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch will have something to say about that.
