Ronda and Shayna Take Advantage Of Fatal Four-Way Chaos For An Easy WrestleMania Win

Rowdy Staff

The road to WrestleMania was filled with twists and turns for Ronda Rousey nobody could’ve predicted. A broken clavicle would sideline our Rowdy One and her best friend Shayna Baszler from tag team competition for over a month, leaving a void that six other women would try to fill on SmackDown.

Does the winner of this fatal four-way showcase match go on to fight for the tag titles Damage Control has held onto by a thread over the last few months? Bailey et al lost again Saturday at WrestleMania night one, so they have to defend soon, right?

Back to the match at hand. First, Liv Morgan and Racquel Rodriguez came down the impressive Hollywood-themed ramp knowing they had to be the favorites with Ronda still injured. Shayna is a scary lady, but she can only do so much by herself against the power of Rodriguez and the craftiness of Morgan – which kicked off the match when Morgan immediately nailed her finisher on DeVIlle.

The Shotzi and Natalya Neidhart team did their best to take advantage of the chaos. Nattie has been in every type of match possible so she could maneuver around all of the bodies flying around – neutralizing Rodriguez and Morgan with flying head scissors and hurricanranas, and the kitchen sink.

Chelsea Green did her best to get in some offense but bounced off Rodriguez all while Ronda and Shayna happily watched from the outside. Ronda looked like her arm wasn’t bothering her too much and was happy to mess with Shotzi while Shayna was getting triple-teamed in the ring.

Eventually, the six ladies opposite The Baddest Duo on the Planet beat each other up so badly that Ronda was able to simply walk up to a barely-conscious Shotzi and put in the armbar for the win. Easy peasy.
