SummerSlam Results: Liv Morgan Pins Ronda After Getting Both Her Arms Destroyed
Ronda Rousey. “The Baddest Woman on the Planet.” UFC Hall of Famer. Two-time WrestleMania headliner. RAW Women’s Champion. Mother of Dragons, dogs, and humans. And now, the woman who should be a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion after defeating Liv Morgan. The Rowdy Ones are pleased, but the fans inside the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee were very much not.
As Ronda walked out, her knee looked 100% and she looked CONFIDENT.
And as the match started, Ronda looked physically stronger and more confident as well, landing the Baddest Slam and multiple reversals on Liv that crushed her into the mat. Liv was actually put into an armbar extremely early on but was able to reverse Ronda, who was able to muscle her into a Samoan drop or Crucifix-syle driver. Somehow, someway, Liv was able to reverse every suplex and every piece of offense from Ronda into a pinning attempt. Liv has a survival instinct that doubles as an offense.
It’s pissing off Ronda:
Even with Liv’s hail mary pinning attempts, Ronda keeps on slapping on armbars. Liv looks like her arms are about to be broken. Left arm. Right arm. Liv Morgan’s elbows are being bent backwards and… 1-2-3. Ronda’s shoulders were down.
Liv wins. Even though she tapped.
Ronda… did not take the loss… lightly.
