After attacking SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley last week, having a tense sitdown with RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch a few days ago, and then defeating Dakota Kai once again on NXT, you might think that NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler would want to take a day off or something.

You’d think wrong.

Instead, “The Queen of Spades” returned to Friday Night SmackDown this week to beat Bayley up even more. It happened just moments after Sasha Banks (in her first match since this year’s Hell in a Cell) defeated Nikki Cross in singles competition. As Sasha left to go to the back after the match, Bayley—who had been on guest commentary during the match—entered the ring to jump Nikki—who had taken the opportunity to attack Bayley at one point during the match.

But then Shayna came to the ring. After hitting Bayley with a clubbing blow, the NXT Women’s Champion hit the SmackDown Women’s Champion with a gutwrench suplex. And then left the ring just as Sasha returned to her friend’s aid.

Yup, that’s all she wrote. Arrive. Gutwrench. Leave. At least until Survivor Series.
