Shotzi Shows Heart, But That’s Not Enough To Beat Ronda

Rowdy Staff

This was Shotzi’s biggest night of her career, but as expected, Ronda had no pity for her and her little “dreams”. She wouldn’t be the big story this evening. Tonight was a night to remind the WWE Universe that Ronda learned a couple of things from the last few months, and there is no more Mrs. Nice Baddest Woman on the Planet. Her shoulders would not be down. She’s here to hurt.

During the Survivor Series kickoff show, we got this sweet little interview:

It’s a reminder that Ronda + Shayna = greatness from now into eternity. And there was no way Shayna would let Ronda lose her belt. Come on. All due respect to Shotzi who gave it her all, but let’s watch the beatdown below.

It was all Ronda to start until she reversed an ankle lock and was somehow able to gain the upper hand. Shotzi was is laying everything on the line by diving off everything she could get near. Shayna, like a good friend, took a big hit from Shotzi flying to the outside:

Things kept flying off the rails on the outside as Shotzi continually connected with big shots, changing the momentum, but never really putting Ronda in danger. Things even spilled into the audience:

After throwing herself all around the arena, Shotzi was clearly worn, and Ronda was able to take advantage, sink in the ankle lock, and take home the W. It was nice seeing Shayna raise Ronda’s hand. That should be happening for years to come.
