Back in 2015, Conor McGregor was knocking everyone out and Ronda Rousey was the reigning and first-ever women’s UFC bantamweight champion.

They were two of the biggest stars in the sport and both of them donned the EA Sports UFC 2 cover, but it was Ronda who was announced first.

“I was obsessed with games growing up, so it’s surreal to see myself on the cover,” she said in the official press release. “EA Sports is like a cultural barometer to see what’s going on in sports. It really means a lot to me to be on the cover of EA Sports UFC 2.”

All throughout her career, Ronda would keep creating historical moments and this one was no different. In 2011, Dana White said women would never fight in the UFC. Just 5 years later, she was on the cover of their freaking video game!

Looking back, it’s still crazy to think that Ronda Rousey would then be featured in WWE 2K19. Complete with the “Rowdy” Roddy Piper homage outfit, gamers can now judo throw with Rousey in two giant gaming franchises across all platforms.
